ABOUT US

What started as a bunch of International EOD Volunteers headed for Ukraine in 2022 ended in early 2023 and developed into a wider mission to help Ukraine.

The funding gathered by the Team in 2022 trained up to 650 Ukrainian Soldiers in Ukraine on basic EOD Skills. The Team also conducted EVACS in Bahkmut and Soledar in the Summer of 2022 and did UXO awareness such as small classes/awareness stickers around Bucha, Irpin and Hostomel.

In 2023, we committed to help the locals around Kupyansk and a small operational team was formed in an old school with the help of the Ministry for Reintegration. Which included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding the then Vice President of Ukraine was the signatory.

Initially this memorandum was agreed to help assist Cargo200 Teams, we trained around 100 people in basic UXO awareness in Southern Ukraine with the help of the National Police Instructors.

How did we fund this?

With the sale of collectible battlefield relics and militaria on a Facebook Page!

What might sound crazy but it was a reality for us, we collected what safe items lay around and sold them to a bunch of history nerds all over the world. We partnered with Ukraine Aid Ops and supplied them with relics for artists to paint, such as shells through to real historical relics like a destroyed Tank Optic recovered in Hostomel Airport when conducting EOD Operations with the National Police of Ukraine.

But by the Summer of 2023, lessons were learned, experience gained all EOD Operations ended, and we decided to help by sourcing everything we could to help.

2024 -  Facebook Page reaches 4000 members...

The bittersweet irony of it all, the EOD Ukraine : Battlefield Relics & Militaria Page is still going strong! Although a decision was made to let other Ukrainians (Serving/Volunteers/Helpers) to sell what items they had gathered to support the Army. This worked, and things that would otherwise went to the bin ended up being saved, sold and the money used to fund the buying of 4x4s through to critical equipment such as Ecoflows/Generators and winter clothing.

So we decided to spark this website up again, and continue helping our Ukrainian friends even more, right when they need us more than ever...
